Come to the Roswell Visual Art Center for the opening reception of The Poet and the Painters exhibit.

The Poet and The Painters comprises as a series of 18 expressive oil paintings by Rinehart and Kroeppler, Atlanta area artists, created to convey the visualized feel and mood of poems written by Dana Gioia, an internationally known award-winning poet laureate and critic. This will be a true Multi-Media Exhibition, and will include: 18 original oil paintings mounted in exhibit format. Dana Gioia poems on board next each painting QR codes next to each painting. Hearing earplugs will be handed to each guest to allow guest to hear Dana recite each poem he wrote. Sculptures and reliefs of four of the paintings by Barabara Rinehart.
